The Family Behind CASACOLORES
Catrine and Ruben we met here in Montezuma in 2000, both fell in love with Costa Rica and bought land next to each other, building our own houses about the same time.
Neighbors at the beginning, we now share life and projects together, Catrine a computer consultant from Sweden and Ruben a sea captain from Uruguay, Liam born in 2004 and Emma born in 2006 are the family behind CASACOLORES.
We created CASACOLORES as the place where we would like to spend our own holidays, in a private house, with full kitchen to cook and have cold drinks, a place to park the car next to the house, a safe box not to worry about money and passport, and of course ….a private veranda with hammock and a pool to cool off in the afternoon!!
The design of the houses were inspired by the colorful cottage from the Caribbean side, raised from the ground and with hard wood floors.
